Initially trained as a dancer, Margot turned her hand to acting and toured London and the West Country playing a wide variety of roles – Shakespeare to Murder Mysteries & Molière. Margot started working professionally in London as a

  • Dancer in pantomime and singer/dancer on the West End stage in The Black & White Minstrel Show.
  • Cabaret entertainer on Cruise Liners in a close-harmony singing trio.
  • Soprano in The London Symphony Chorus for 40 years, with numerous International engagements, singing in many languages and with the greatest conductors and orchestras of the world. The discipline of the Concert Hall and recording studios has proved invaluable.

  • Versatile actor

Many TV commercials, feature films and television dramas and soaps.

A skilled improviser with a flair for comedy, Margot enjoys a variety of dance and gym classes, swimming and walking. Her love of needlework has been of great interest and use over the years, in adapting and making costumes, bridal wear and teaching millinery for a short period. 

Margot is slim and agile and can take direction well – playing age 65+
